The EU Commission with the support of the Centre for Strategy & Evaluation Services (CSES) is evaluating the RCD with a targeted stakeholder survey open until 7 November.
EBI encourages all actors in the industry to provide input on the functioning of the Directive and highlight the opportunities for improvement and simplification. EBI supports a future-proof revision that strengthens innovation, sustainability, simplification and competitiveness - promoting life-cycle assessment and technology-neutrality as routes to decarbonisation and environmental improvements, and harmonised EU rules to support a thriving boating industry Made in Europe.
